Welcome to "Fayoum's Palm Shadow" – A peaceful, calm and green spot, less than 100 km away from Cairo, offering housing, meeting and parking facilities, a professional catering service, a splendind 4000 square meters' garden and much more! "Fayoum's Palm Shadow" is located in a typical village of "Fayoum", one of Churchill's preferred places in Egypt. It has a unique Oasis-like view over the "Qarun" lake, surrounded by palm trees and agricultural land on one side and desert on the other side.

What we offer
We offer high quality services, for you, your familly and friends, that can be tailored to satisfy all your requirements, for short or long term stays. Our offer is suitable for professional (meetings, seminars, etc) or private (weekends, holidays, secondary residence, etc) use.
Housing:
- Four two-bedrooms apartments (each suitable for 4 persons)
- One four-bedrooms villa (suitable for 6 persons - equiped with AC)All our housing units are fully equiped (kitchen, washing machine, TV, free WIFI, etc) and have drinkable water. They all give access to the roof, offering a panoramic view over the village and the lake
Meeting room:
A 25-30 persons' equiped meeting room, with independent rest rooms and free WIFI access
Catering:
A high-quality catering service, offering Egyptian and/or international meals prepared by professional cooks (preferably with prior reservation). This service can also be used for special events (private parties, weddings, conferences, etc)
Cultural activities
Local Handicraft:
The "Palm Shadow" will soon showcase local handicraft products and organise courses to initiate its guests and visitors to different methods of production of local products
Horse riding:
It is possible to do some horse riding in the village. The "Palm Shadow" will happily put you in contact with some of the locals who organise tours for a very reasonable price
Visiting the whales' valley and other highlights in the desert:
If you so wish, the 'Palm Shadow" can put in you in contact with reliable and expert local service providers who can drive you through the desert in 4x4 cars to visit the whales' valley and other typical highlights, such as the "Rayyan valley".
